Our Story: From Spark of Curiosity to a 3D Printing Busniess
Growing up in rural New York, my weekends were spent surrounded by country fairs, car shows, and local markets. While the rest of my family was under the hood of a car, I was fascinated by a different kind of building: technology, computers, and making things from scratch.
After living in different parts of the US, life took an unexpected turn when I met my wife online while gaming. Many thought making a long-distance relationship across the Atlantic was an impossibility, but we worked through the distance, solved the challenge, and made it a reality. In 2020, I moved to the UK to start our next chapter together.
Finding my true day-to-day passion took time. For nearly six years, I searched for work that genuinely inspired me. I initially launched JH Motiv as a streetwear brand, but it never quite clicked. Then, I discovered 3D printing.
A spark lit up immediately. Little by little, innovative ideas started flowing, giving me a creative, technical outlet that fit into a busy schedule. Today, additive manufacturing lets me solve real-world problems as they land in my inbox and bring custom ideas to life.

The Goal & The Dream
Every project we take on has a purpose: putting smiles on families' faces, fixing broken items, or engineering smart solutions for everyday challenges.
JH Motiv is a major step toward the future my wife and I are building together. The ultimate dream is securing our ideal home on a homestead. While most people in the country build a barn to work on cars, mine will house a dedicated 3D print farm creating custom solutions, toys, and gear for families everywhere.
